ABS has the #1 on lock unless Morgan gains on Sunday and Monday. Love Somebody's numbers are lower than every day of IHSH during its album release week. Not to mention, it doesn't have the radio to compete with ABS.
fridayteenage Posted October 20 Posted October 20 come on, roseanne, stabilize enough to get that historic top 10 debut! I can't believe beautiful things outlasts PPP, ugh
tle2000 Posted October 20 Posted October 20 I wonder if TOTC has early access to digital download numbers. 250 points is way higher than expected given the Spotify streaming is kinda low (only 1.7 mil on Day 2). I was expecting only 220 points (which was roughly what "Lies Lies Lies" got), which would be good enough for top 3 debut (slightly behind "Birds of a Feather"). Either TOTC is over-estimating the iTunes digital sales of "Love Somebody", or they actually have concrete data showing it sold a high amount on Day 1?
Elementary Posted October 21 Posted October 21 *The Evil is defeated* .gif but seriously must there be a "record breaking" song every other year now? Clearly the metrics are wrong or the music industry has shrinked into the dead scene that it is right now… 1

TrieLz Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Beautiful Things are safe in the top 10 with Morgan & Rose (possibly) debuting in top 10
slw84 Posted October 21 Posted October 21 After Morgan gets #1 it seems like it's ripe for Billie to pick it up as long as she stabilizes or slightly increases from the SNL performance.

Miles. Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Never thought I'd be rooting for Mr. Wallen but please (please please) save us from ABS 1 1 1
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted October 23 Posted October 23 A shame that Morgan is likely the one dethroning ABS. It feels like we've had nothing but male country #1s since the spring. Hoping that Billie can clench a #1 for herself in November. Seems likely at this point, she just needs to do it before holiday songs are dominating the top spots in December. Die With a Smile's position is so upsetting considering its constant streaming domination since release. It just doesn't make sense it never even got close to #1. I guess Good Luck, Babe! is done? Ouch at an 8% loss. I feel like Chappell's negative publicity the last 2 months genuinely set back her super fast ascent up the Hot 100 in the summer. Sad that Espresso will never hit #1, but it's rewarding to see it stick around this long. Lose Control, Beautiful Things, and I Had Some Help need to completely gtfo at this point, lol. 4

I think APT is going to be the next #1. BoaF only has a week or two to get that #1 before APT takes over. I don't think Morgan is going to #1 anymore. Love Somebody is way overestimated. Its Spotify numbers are well off the pace of IHSH's album release week, not to mention its radio numbers are much lower. 2
roman19911 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Morgan is down to #6 on US Spotify, I doubt that the #1 is happening 3 1

St. Charles Posted October 23 Posted October 23 It's funny how 2024 is such a great year for music so far. But looking at the charts and specifically the #1s, you would not really know it. 3
Witnessed ET Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I still don't understand how this Morgan dude is so big, has there been a country artist in recent memory be so huge in the mainstream? anyway, I hope APT. keeps increasing and eventually hits #1. Rosé deserves. It's funny how everyone would always bet on Lisa and Jennie to be the most successful soloist out of Blackpink, and miss Roseanne comes out with a bigger smash than any of them lol.
