Do you recommend it? yes season 2 was kind of a slog to get through and they added a bunch of new characters that we know virtually nothing about for no reason (yet) other to move the plot along but season 3 is consistent so far and on par with s1 The show builds on suspense and mystery so if you like that, this is a must watch. 1 hour ago, Kern said: is it comparable to Lost? Yeah full ensemble cast, new cast members added every so often, the show also adding more questions every ep and barely answering any until each season finale and then there's always more questions to ask fff but I recommend it! 1
Gossip_Boy Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Haven't started season 3 yet, but I love this show. But, man, it is a show that sure makes me want to yell at the people on the TV and tell them how stupid they are lmao.

DR0GO Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Is this season better than season 2? I LOVED season 1, but season 2 took forever to find its footing, but by the end I was hooked again.
Dylangaga Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Yay a thread! This is one of the BEST horror series! The story, the acting...INCREDIBLE! Every episode either has me CRYING or on the edge of my seat or BOTH! Can't wait to see how this season unfolds
rooby.booby Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Just got caught up with season 3. I love this show so much!
flower moon Posted October 17 Posted October 17 is it really sci-fi? the trailer makes it seem supernatural/fantasy?
Cloröx Posted October 20 Posted October 20 (edited) Can they kill the baldy guy already Almost everyone start being annoying lately, evil Fromville please do your job and be creative again with the killings Update: Spoiler I was in the middle of the episode and just finished the ending Edited October 20 by Cloröx
spiritboy Posted October 21 Posted October 21 It was a bit boring episode. This probably won't be renewed for 4th season as we are in the middle of the season and there is no news yet.
Alex Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 Okay so I'm all caught up and ngl the last 2 episodes have been boring filler, they need to step it up. Spoiler although I did find it intriguing that they wanted us to know about Victor's dad bringing up the point about the absence of the motel, which circles back to the main idea of this town being an unfinished jigsaw puzzle of sorts. Logically, nothing about this town actually makes total sense, so it feels like a useless question to bring attention to unless they're saving this grand reveal for later. Clearly they teased early on that the town can shift and move as desires (Victor marking down the movement of trees etc.) which feels like its operating in a physical purgatory or pocket hole of sorts but clearly they don't have the budget to actually showcase this in real time fff. Like some character's belongings also randomly being found throughout the town and even in the tunnels must allude that this place is where all the forgotten things go when they end up lost? (although it would be a cool twist if everything in the town randomly moved places and/or a new building just appears out of nowhere in order to have the town's location serve as an actual puzzle that needs to be solved but I fear that would be overcomplicating things) Also I feel like the numbers in the bottle trees are clearly scrambled coordinates and removing some bottles could definitely alter the end destination of stepping into the faraway tree (re: Dale) but that's just my running theory. If the lighthouse is only accessible via this bottle tree, how many other potential undiscovered areas are there housing hidden buildings etc. and how can anyone dare to find out when its been made to be so randomized? Are those monsters also inhabitants of the lighthouse area or is that area a safe haven? The fact we also never found out what the hell happened outside when Boyd and Sarah were in the tent is sooo I don't really care about all the lore they keep adding onto Tabitha's backstory because I feel like its just going to be a red herring and I'd rather have Jade be the one to finally figure something out himself. The Fatima plot and the guy who keeps seeing the random lady in the kimono are not doing enough to keep the plot moving. Also the writers are tanking Boyd's character right now like lets give him some better plot lines please.
NEUTRON Posted October 29 Posted October 29 THIS IS MY SHOW. EVERYONE should be watching. I'm glad my tribe is growing because for the longest I felt alone in the FROMily besides the reddit group 😭

We received a treasure trove of goodies these last two episodes: the camera, Victors story, the Ankoooey kids, Fatima!, the monsters warning to Victor etc. They're finally talking to one another about what they've seen and going through. I feel like there's a team effort involved in getting out of this place
NoAngelus Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I've seen so much hype for this show in recent weeks on tiktok and internet in general, but sadly everyone is saying it's boring already, so what is the truth?
Dylangaga Posted October 29 Posted October 29 This show is FAR from boring every episode has been GREAT!
