One Piece anime has been sh*t for some time now. The pacing is terrible and Oda forgot how to write a good story. Wano was especially bad

I mean, I can agree in that One Piece's world build elements is pretty good, but even all storylines have to end. Group of pirates sail island to island, and 1100+ episodes in and they still haven't found that damn treasure!?  

 

Robin is an icon though.

They're on the final saga, there's probably like 2-4 more arcs in the manga left. Elbaf, world government arc with imu clash, whatever they're going to do with black beard, final arc will probably be a clash with buggy's grand fleet getting to lafftale.

One Piece pacing is already terrible. Just look at Wano, 150 chapters filled with unnecesary plotlines, characters and disappointing ending. The whole first part of Chainsaw man manga started and wrapped up within Wano's duration and told a way better story.

 

It seems like Oda lost his ability to craft a compelling story long ago, as most of the last arcs in one piece have been trash, so don't expect a satisfying or even decent ending.

Couldnt pay me to watch that specific arc again I switched to reading it instead of watching it for a reason

I thought Oda had the ending planned out since the beginning. But whatever the One Piece treasure is, 1K+ episodes is already a set-up.

Egg head was only like 70 chapters

 

Wano's problem is they lore dump a bunch of stuff they should have sprinkled in-between archs through the series

and it's still not over. All I'm saying is yeah but if there're still important and heavy plot lines like Blackbeard and World Government among others, they most certainly won't be shorter than Wano

I'm like a couple episodes behind but doesn't change my point: why would they suddenly make the last important arcs shorter

The anime has been 60-70 chapters behind the manga.

I feel like Oda is wrapping up the series after Elbaf. The past arc had so much reveal in the manga, you can tell it's coming to a conclusion
