Elusive Chanteuse Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Awesome! So much for flopping!! Hoping for a top 10 debut in USA as well.
Nefertiti0 Posted October 7 Posted October 7 160,880 units - 140,967 physicals, 17,157 downloads, 2,756 streaming
Green Posted October 7 Posted October 7 amazing numbers Those numbers would be more than enough to debut at #1 in the US too
Starkboy Posted October 7 Posted October 7 hmmm are they selling the albums with tour tickets cause the math isn't mathing these insane physical numbers and abysmal streams
zach Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Wasn't there just a thread of someone calling this album a flop? 1

Signed items were limited to bundles of vinyl, CD and possibly the download as well, not sure. I hope they'll manage to ship them all, I'm still waiting for confirmation of dispatch, and one of my packages has been stuck for ages in the wrong country... also Blood Records had an exclusive vinyl so that was immediately 5000 sales, and Amazon has exclusive vinyl. And having a very successful tour in UK now also helped with pre-orders as people were able to pre-order as they were waiting for the show to start. They don't have to be a streaming force once they have a fanbase willing to pay and buy physicals.

Liafen Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I mean it makes sense, the 10xWembley pre-sale was open to people who have pre-ordered the album prior. I imagine lots of people bought it purely because of that incentive.

Richie.Valdez Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Oh.. tickets bundle? . I believe Billboard forbid those. 1

I think what you're suggesting is illegal in the UK Well, maybe a purchase wasn't necessary, but that wasn't made clear at all in their newsletter (and I suppose anywhere else, either): This is what I got: Spoiler WEMBLEY & HULL SHOWS ANNOUNCED FOR AUGUST 2025 PRE-ORDER NOW FOR FiRST ACCESS The band have just announced August 2025 shows at London's Wembley Stadium and Hull's Craven Park Stadium. gustavothehuman Posted October 8 Author Posted October 8 With that said, I don't get why people expect Coldplay to have a smash album in 2024. They're a 27 year old band in a landscape dominated by solo artists 1
