At this point, especially with Kamala's campaign selling friendship bracelets + the use of The Man at the end of her speech, I have a hard time imagining that this wasn't coordinated. Up to the hug with Brittany to make sure Taylor was at her peak in the news for maximum impact. 

 

Great that she endorsed her, it's for the best, but can we go back to the music now? I'm tired of Taylor constantly being one of the main talking point in political topics. Like that's not what I'm here for.

Because that issue runs deep and actually creates security threats for her concerts far beyond that of an election endorsement. There are actual religious and political extremists willing to resort to terrorism over the Israel-Palestine conflict. A silly little pop star should not be forced to speak up on something like that (she shouldn't have even had to speak on the election but **** it, she did.)  

 

I am all for a ceasefire, the end of the genocide of the Palestinian people, and the return of the land that rightfully belongs to them, but I'm not looking to entertainers for that support. I'm looking to the politicians and legislators that deal with the international affairs.

she's not a silly pop star. she's a billionaire with resources and a huge platform that was given to her. we have other billionaires using their platform to create chaos, and then powerful people who have been named person of the year like taylor who decide to stay silent in front of an obvious ethnic cleansing, despite it being conducted with her own tax money. the "issue runs deep" argument is just something made up by zionists and the fact that you're using this is disgusting tbh. what's complex about colons coming in and displacing / killing an entire ethnicity in front of our eyes and with our money? i'm not even dragging taylor because i'm happy to see her use her platform for good, for once, but how can she stay silent in front of a genocide when she obviously has so much power and influence? and that goes for all the other pop billionaires who have yet to say something
