I remember seeing so many people saying they were bored with The End when she released it on its own, but that 1-2-3 punch of Panic Attack, The End and I Believe in Magic is so stunning

Some of thr lyrics of the album are so heavy and dark. It's impossible not to feel sorry for what she's going through. Glad that she got those dark thoughts and feelings out of her system. Is her illness so serious that she's gonna die before seeing her kid growing up? Hope that's not the case.

I'm sure a dual diagnosis of lupus and a leukemia-adjacent disorder definitely made her question her own mortality for a while, combined with becoming a single mother to a toddler after being cheated on and dumped by her partner, attending chemo treatments alone, facing constant criticism from fans online for branching into cosmetics and not being visible enough, and being released from her old recording contract - all in such a short period -  took a HEAVY toll on the 'Walls Could Talk' chanteuse. All likely fueling the ~main character energy~ that allowed her to pour her emotions into this album in such an earnest and unfiltered way.

I hope she releases a MV/Visualizer for Panic Attack and maybe for another song until the tour

'Panic Attack' could be a cute moment for her with a proper push. While she might not be focused on chart performance right now (though it's clear she appreciates success), the album will plummet off the charts without consistent streaming support. Even one track gaining decent streams would make a difference.

Yeah, Panic Attack needs to be a single immediately.

I love this album so much. My mom had cancer a couple of years ago so hearing her perspective as a mother is so heartbreaking for me. The songwriting is excellent :clap3:

Yeah i was expecting her to upload Nothing this week but maybe she thought it wasn't a good idea (due to the election)... maybe next week it'll be on streaming!

Also this is really smart because the album will keep appearing on the "new releases" section on streaming services every week

This should have been the actual booklet:

I always wondered why Halsey never does proper album booklets, considering her visuals are always so strong. That is my one complain about her career lmao.

Also I don't think the other bonus tracks will be on streaming anytime soon. Probably next year or even the 1 year anniversary- doesn't she normally do that?

Also help bc I noticed this and now I can't mishear the pufferfish "aeugh" sound (but pitched up) at timestamp 1:32 of Alice :doc:

I played both side by side and I think she did not sample the meme for the song but the similarity is still uncanny someone please tell me am I going insane? :deadbanana2:

edit: I kept listening to them side by side and I think she might have indeed sample the meme ijbol :bibliahh:iconic behaviour if you ask me

I finally listened to this the other day and I like it more than I would've thought. Didn't top her previous album obviously, but I wasn't expecting that :-*

Lonely Is The Muse (which I've LOVED since release), Dog Years, and Life of the Spider are my top 3.

Lucky had no business being the lead single or getting that much budget
