YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) No matter what you think of MTV's Scream series (I personally love it despite it having a few noticeable flaws), I think it's a unanimous opinion that Brooke Maddox was the best thing about it. Carlson Young ******* BODIED this role and showcased an immense amount of depth and range that the majority of other characters in the series were lacking. She was definitely a worthy successor to Rose McGowen's Tatum in the first movie and as much as people are opposed to the idea of connecting the series to the film franchise, I truly wouldn't mind seeing her back in the films even if it were just a brief cameo. Spoiler Killing off her bf on the second season after everyone survived the first was an iconic move from the showrunners, so kudos to that 1

Posted August 27 Posted August 27 She definitely carried that atrocious show, she and Tom Maden were the only reasons I managed to make it through a whole season I just googled her and apparently she's a director now! She directed a rom-com for Amazon Prime called Upgraded that actually got pretty good reviews. Emma was such a bad character that I thought Willa couldn't act, but she was incredible in Usher. Can't wait to see her in Strange Darling! I'm very proud of her for booking some solid directing gigs. Carlson and I used to actually DM pretty frequently leading up to the release of her directoral debut The Blazing World and when she asked me if I liked it I had to ignore her because I thought it was terrible I also agree that Willa was INCREDIBLE in TFOTHOU and wish she got an Emmy nom. Strange Darling looks so good too 1 1
