The Cannes winner narco-musical with a 90% rotten tomatoes fresh rating , is leading the viewership in France despite not being available everywhere. It is also getting some selective screening releases around the world before putting the whole version on Netflix and Prime video (And apparently they are including a few more scenes there too).

 

The movie has been leading the whole weekend as well. Apparently the soundtrack might be coming on the 28th featuring Selena's solo Mi Camino, Bienvenida and the ft with Karla Perdoname. El Trio remains unknown

I wish Selena was in the top 5, but it's great to see Zoe Saldana as the number one contender. She's been around for so long. I think her career is so underrated. Her being a part of so many different blockbuster franchises as a woman of color isn't talked about enough imo. Great to see her getting praise for this performance. Still holding out hope for both of them to make it in as noms.
