It's made me remember just HOW mad people were when Katy had her HEELS on their neck for years in the 2010s. You can hate her all you want, "Roar" still destroyed "Applause" and Teenage Dream still has more #1s than any Taylor album ever will. And they hate to see it!

Trying to build a dedicated fanbase after you've already tanked 3 eras in a row isn't going to work.

I think she should focus on the music and do an image overhaul and talk about things that are authentic to her, her trying to recapture her glory days isn't working, she might not be the biggest pop star anymore after all of those subtle changes but it gives her a better chance of building a fanbase

This! Because it's become incredibly inauthentic. Katy doesn't realize that these other girls have put the work in. And people actually don't like Kim Petras, and the ones that still do are supporting her on the strength of her being a trans popstar. Kim gets dragged left & right and has a shell of a career at this point.

you are giving a platform to someone who does the same in your signature.
