What a full circle moment. From opening for Olivia and nobody knowing her to everyone knowing your song and smashing. Love it for Chappell.

i've always found musical scenes to be lovely, and i feel that these communities are a great way to achieve success.

back in 2019~21 we had the jack antonoff sound bridging taylor, lana, lorde, st. vincent, etc. by working together, both the producer and the singers reached new heights by linking themselves to a common brand — when people talked about folklore or daddy's home, for example, they would mention nfr and melodrama.

right now, olivia and chappell are kind of starting a similar thing with dan nigro on helm. i hope we see more of them in future, as well as more people in their little group. this partnership is nice to watch, and can be truly helpful for their careers.

Reneé Rapp is already working with Dan on her second album, so it'll be interesting to see if her career blows up next year. I think more established artists will want to work with him now that he's produced two of the biggest pop debuts of the decade, and he also has his own imprint with Island Records, which will probably sign more up-and-coming artists.

This makes me kind of emotional idk why lol. Great seeing two of the most prominent artists of this generation interact like this, supporting each other and singing such a crowd pleaser song that reminds me so much of the whole YMCA thing a few decades ago.

Good for them, even better for us Music lovers! Love to see!

They both were founded by dan genius, how would they not be associated?

I really want both to stay here for a long time :jonny: Rooting for Olivia to keep smashing with her third record and Chappel to get bigger and bigger :gaycat3:

I think most of original fans of Chappell got to know her because of Olivia so this is great

I was under the impression that this girl came out of nowhere, turns out she opened for Olivia? Of course she blew up. This is how all the artists blow up nowadays besides Olivia & Billie they truly came out of nowhere. Everyone that's opened up for Taylor blew up. Her and Olivia have the sameish fan base.

I love their friendship and how they are BIG together now
