There is a Kesha solo version she performed live a handful of times (one of the verses include a lyric something like "turn around shake that ass for me" for example)

Imagine a song u wrote, u worked hard on, a song u made a success, u shot a video for and performed live on an award show (in front of the public eye while u were literally dying from an eating disorder because said producer body shamed you daily) is taken away from you. Don't you have any sympathy? Like at all? What is the personal gain Katy or KatyRats get from it? This is a bonus for Puke and you celebrate it.

Also, I can't believe nobody has mentioned this yet, but I'm 99% sure she already accused him of sexual assault BEFORE this song came out. Which was the weirdest thing to me. Because it was a big discussion in here about the sexual assault stuff and then it was like Pitbull, Kesha and Dr. Luke have a new song together and them it was massive and a #1. It was just strange. I get that it may have been released ages before but still found I strange.

I feel like what you're remembering were stan whispers and Free Kesha based on the way she was treated by him, that was more of a fan fueled thing based on her music output and label issues (kinda like Free Tinashe). Her public support for Luke was starkly different in 2012/2013 from previous years, that's where a lot of the fans intervened. 

 

The actual sexual assault lawsuit came after Timber did its thing.
