From a local news outlet, she arrived here in my town the other day to celebrate her birthday, visited Pompeii and donated a great amount to a youth project :clap3:

Its really an expensive tourist place, within a first world rich country.
why donate there?
when there are litearlly LOTS & LOTS of 3rd world country where a 100$ could be LIFE CHANGING for some.

Madonna donates a lot, but unlike others, unless some local media write about it, she doesn't scream it out loud. She donates in 3rd world countries, too, and don't forget she build a hospital.

Don't act now like some donations/charities are better than other. Or someone shouldn't be donating to some things over other...

Yall complain when they don't donate and then when they do: "oh but not there" lmao

As if Madonna isn't known for doing it the most in countries like Malawi.

She did it in memory of the house she lost during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius

Not everyone in Italy is rich! Many suffer bad levels of poverty in every country. It isn't a race to the bottom.

That's amazing. A lot of people don't know that This Used to Be My Playground was written about the town square she used to frequent in Pompeii.

Exactly like we're literally struggling as a country and have been for a while.
