The way she continues to dig her heels in instead of accepting some of the constructive criticism, the main lesson being that she needs to drop Dr. Luke. :toofunny3:

i came into this thread ready to drag her but actually just thinking about it for two secs, the state of her is so sad. :rip: instead of taking the criticism, and this doesn't mean listening to her haters or the critics, but like hearing out her actual fans who are screaming at her that none of this is it, she is acting like she's at Planet Unbothered and trying to clapback with her boobs on the internet like a 20 year old when she is a 40 yo woman with a kid. for a woman who has been in the industry for decades who should be showing some maturity, humility and grace, she's having her "idgaf im such a rebel" era. this ain't your 2nd album and you are not 22 year old, your career was already on its last legs, have you learnt nothing in your time in this business, no class or dignity? no PR or learning to connect and honour your two fans? we know you have constantly been out of touch with the culture and your finger is so far away from the pulse of what's quality, cool and likeable, but at this point she is actively moving in the opposite direction. i swear she saw charli's era and said "this must be what being a brat is! i'll do it too!" when in reality she is the anti-brat. a sad, sad woman.

I think, what is happening, is that she knows she neers to damage control, but at the same time she wants to (in her way) stand by what she did. Was working with Luke a good idea? Hell no, but is she the only one working with him, also no. It's a bit sad, I think she's sinking internally, and is trying to portray herself as if she is unbothered but she's trying too hard and that is why it comes across so bad.

What's done is done. She can't erase those songs but hopefully won't again.

She's 39 years old. What is it with yall always adding months/years on a person's age? I'm gonna start saying all 25 years Olds are 30 because of atrl.

The Charli XCXification of Katy Perry needs to be answered for. Every single gay that is involved with styling her this era needs to be put behind bars.

Like why are we trying to make Katy Perry something she is not? Nobody asked for Charli lite Katy Perry - they should still be styling her using an aesthetic we know Katy for. She was even better styled for Idol, with her classy looks. This ain't it.

You can just tell Katy and her "creative team" are making mood boards of Charli, Ru girls, and various TikTok trends while saying "oh man, the kids are gonna love this" as they try to make Katy look or sound cool :ahh:

If you would've told me Katy Perry would become a Charli XCX wannabe in 2013 I would not have been able to believe or consider it for a split second. :bird:

To be fair, the way Charli dresses professionally now is how Katy dressed casually throughout her career- crop and tank tops, short shorts, ripped fish nets and docs. She has the same stylist she did on Idol too.

This particular shirt has been worn by a few artists (Megan comes to mind) but is only associated with Charli because at the time they were saying that the crash singles sucked.
