New York Mag: Katy Perry's rollout is a flop

So why is the media against Katy once more? It's tired. This one feels just as forced and orchestrated as during Witness era. Didn't one journalist confirm the hate train for Katy was forced and paid for by some entity. They said the same happened with J.Lo. Someone out to get them both.

I agree and yet no one is reporting on that

But what facts are they reporting? Big publications straight up calling her a has been is not reporting on anything. Saying that she has to catch up to newcomers is not reporting anything either. The ghost of Dr Luke circling this album is not even being reported let alone discussed in those articles, literally no one outside of stan twitter know or care.

There's is no reporting going on, this is pure clickbait and bullying.

They are reporting facts, her new music sells very poorly and doesn't connect with the GP, I think it's worth writing about it since she was so big before. I would write about it if I was a journalist but in a respectful way, I would praise her massive hits, and write about the unfortunate situation that her new music doesn't spark interest anymore and I would try to find the reasons why, producers, music style, message of songs etc
