It's not just Luke though. The whole era, from the rollout to the music, is a dated cringey mess. Her choices, from the producer to acting all unbothered, just adds that extra that is probably making everyone and their mother go extra unhinged on her.

Though I think the pile on is enough, her new music flopped, lots of people flop and make bad decisions but we should just move on. It's starting to feel like the JLo thing where people are just hating because they want to tear a woman down rather than actually having a nuanced discussion about her deciding to work with and empower a rapist. 1

Big publications straight up calling her a has been is not reporting on anything. Saying that she has to catch up to newcomers is not reporting anything either. The ghost of Dr Luke circling this album is not even being reported let alone discussed in those articles, literally no one outside of stan twitter know or care.
