liquiddiamonds Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) Honestly I'm not kicking down one of the few gay latino representation we have in US culture, but it feels his hype has waned a bit and he lives off of tokenism. His album came and went, but he stays booked and busy kinda like the male Anitta without major success in some latin markets (Brazil for her). I don't know for how long he can keep this up without a hit or at least cult following. Like.. I even think Arca is the bigger LGBT figure amongst us lgbt latinos. His career is in a kinda weird place Edited August 14 by liquiddiamonds
Vixen Eyes Posted August 14 Posted August 14 if i had to pick between him and that Noah Beck guy, id pick Omar over Noah.

Happylittlepunk Posted August 15 Posted August 15 He isn't even ugly at all. Some of you guys really are just full of hate. There difference between someone who isn't your type too a guy who actually just ugly. 2 1

His career is in a kinda weird place He's been under a distribution deal with Warner so I'm sure he's doing pretty well financially speaking considering he's been touring consistently for years and has garnered more streams than some wannabe main pop girls (kim petras for example) His audience has always been more indie/straight girls/gen z chicanos, he'll be fine without the mean f*gs that started commenting on him and his career since Evergreen blew up. 2
James_Joint Posted August 15 Posted August 15 I love his music and I'm going to see him in Miami in September! what's with some of these comments though…if you're not attracted to someone, there's no need to comment that bc no one asked you. The gay community is so toxic towards gay male celebrities, it needs to be studied. 3
Mornings Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Idk the gaultier reference is kinda just falling flat for me
