AvadaKedavra Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) I dont wanna be rude cause i love her but why are all taylor friends so unbearable? they live in some sort of strange privileged tone deaf bubble. I can see tha patterns with her group of friends Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, The HAIM Girls, Blake Lively, The Hadids........ Theyre so vapid and lack substance. Now i get why Prince Joe jumped ship with friends that annoying i would too........ Edited August 14 by AvadaKedavra 1 1
CottageHore Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) Blake was intentionally being patronizing and rude. If you were offended by what was very obviously a well-intended congratulations, then say that and move on. The way those two washed up actresses sat there basically mocking the interviewer together for a whole minute while she sat there silently is pathetic. I have yet to see Blake do anything of substance. And is that Effie from Hunger Games? I thought she died. Someone needs to knock them off that high horse immediately Edited August 14 by CottageHore 1 2

They're all insanely privileged, wealthy, out- of-touch and pretentious air heads who intentionally use the very menial marginalized aspect left of their identity to victimize themselves. It's literally what Taylor's been doing forever, which made sense before she was the most famous human on the planet, now with her and all these celebs, it's so clearly forced. Mind you, it's always the white feminist nepotist celebrities that act this way. They don't care about anybody but themselves and think they're the most victimized people on the planet. Mr_campbell Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Wow this truly made me dislike them both. The interviewer was very sweet.
commander Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I can't say I'm surprised, after all she sort of have a slavery kink 1

It's telling that the only time she was actually willing to be more open minded and political was when she thought her career was beginning to dwindle during the Lover era - it's even more telling that the moment she got her spot back as the top pop girl, she immediately went back to her apolitical ways and "girl squad" shticks. vuelve88 Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Mess. I think the interviewer offended her with that baby bump comment and Blake just chose to be rude for the rest of the interview because of it. It's unfortunate, but maybe she was feeling self-conscious and defensive about her image. The follow-up costume question probably aggravated her too since it was image focused too. 1
Marla Singer Posted August 14 Posted August 14 This is from 2016? Yeah someone has it out for Blake Lively right now, the timing of this is just- Serves her right though.
DAP Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) All this promo for a Colleen Hoover adaptation Edited August 14 by DAP 2
youcallingmyname Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Mean girl behavior and she isn't even a talented actress or popular to be acting that way. Not saying it would make it okay if she was but it's the audacity of it all. Her and Parker posey at their big age acting like two high school mean girls.

IBeMe Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I love Blake and this isn't a critic of her only BUT celebs are actually kind of pathetic. She goes on a rampage about how celebs need to be treated like normal people etc...but a normal person would ask another normal person about their baby bump...it's kind of normal for a woman to ask another woman about it or congratulate her about it...so to act like it's not there when she was clearly very pregnant is ACTUALLY treating you like a celeb. Not talking about something so obvious is what someone would do if they met a celeb so she should have just taken that comment and simply said "thanks" or not said anything instead of going on a sarcastic rampage with her co star. Shameful behavior right there. 1
P.O.P Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) 2 hours ago, Walk_Away21 said: The interviewer is not a native English speaker and Blake had just recently PUBLICLY announced being pregnant. The way Blake said back "I love YOUR bump" was literal Regina George "I love that skirt" energy. Girl, saying "congratulations on your baby" is one thing, she said "congratulations on your baby BUMP" as the very first thing. Like imagine seeing a relative after a long time and the first thing they say is "omg you gained weight". Like that can't be the first thing you notice (or at least keep it to yourself) Edited August 14 by P.O.P 1 1
JustHoran Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Parker Posey seemed like the real mean girl here Blake was not nice, but she's also pregnant and maybe took offense to her saying she had a bump when she wasn't really showing yet. Not a good look either way. I refuse to hate Blake though, she's just the new girl to hate at the moment

Not to get political but I sadly agree with this. It's been very telling to me that she won't even endorse what would be the first female President, and who is going against the wanna-be dictator. It's very telling and I'm a Taylor stan (rn).
