this which hunt on blake is random

the reasons for it are pretty stupid too, oh no she wore a flowery dress to a movie premiere bout a serious subject

heaven forbid

u must not be very bright if that's what you got from that

they dragging her because she wanted to do a barbie moment, by telling the audience to wear florals, as if it's a cute little rom com. the movie is literally about domestic violence. she's so disconnected from reality :deadbanana:

people shouldn't be surprised of her actions, i mean she did get married on a plantation after all

It's really been feeling like that lately. I'm not saying none of them have done anything wrong, but there's just been a lot of targeted hate towards 35+ women in this past year alone. A lot of the worst comments or jokes are from people who normally would call out misogyny too, so they must not realize they are being swept up in the online pile on. Literally making content for some doc in 20 years dissecting all of it lol

IMO pretty much every celeb has cringe/awkward/out of touch clips out there (hell I've had a moment or two myself) or has associated with someone problematic at some point. Anything can be used against any of yalls faves if the time is "right." It's why I don't stan anymore personally. Not to mention a number of twitter users pedaling hate against her have some nerve given the behavior they exhibit on a daily basis. Everyone's just so hypocritical that I'm numb to most internet drama. Lol

ageism is very real but also, it takes a while for people to build up this resentment. for a typical non controversial celeb, it seems to require about 10+ years worth of bad behaviour to build up before the backlash can come in full swing. so that's gonna make it much more common for women over 35 like Ellen, JLo and Katy. but it also explains someone like Jojo Siwa who, has not done many bad things, but has been known publicly for 10+ years.

The way Blake desperately tried to have a ScarJo feminist moment with that fashion response but just ended up sounding kind of stupid :rip:

I understand that it must be frustrating as an actress to field these types of questions a lot of the time, but considering this is a period film and Blake's character is supposed to be this very glamorous women the question was not unwarranted. There was a way she could have made the same point without being dismissive and rude to the interviewer.

I love Parker Posey but her behavior in this interview is disappointing, and the eye roll was so catty. I thought she was better than that.

Choosing to promote a DV movie as a romcom and use the Promo run to also promote her fashion and new haircare line. As a result a number of unsuspecting people including DV victims were triggered and/or had breakdowns and anxiety attacks during the movie.

The hate she's getting is well deserved. Skirting around a topic so serious as DV is gross.

Btw to the people saying folks are digging things up... the interviewer posted this THEMSELVES as vindication for their mistreatment. Goes to show Blake has been awful for a long time

folks on here love to be contrarian over perceived "witch hunts" on the internet when the reality is just awful people finally having karma catch up to them.

I don't care for Blake but starting an interview with "Congrats on your baby BUMP" is crazy

The way they proceed to have a convo with one another and completely ignore the interviewer's presence is kind of sending me. It's almost giving Scary Movie vibes. :deadbanana4:

Now I get why she's good friends with Taylor

you know, I was going to say this witch hunt is unfair and Blake doesn't deserve, but this changes everything. :)

The interviewer is not a native English speaker and Blake had just recently PUBLICLY announced being pregnant. The way Blake said back "I love YOUR bump" was literal Regina George "I love that skirt" energy.

That was very uncomfortable to watch, they literally ignored her from the get-go :rip:

I didn't realize the video was posted by the interviewer and that she's literally saying this interview made her want to stop interviewing people for a living. I thought the video was posted by some Twitter rando and they just called it that as a joke. Blake was being so rude here!

lol & her sitting there in her jean jacket trying to be high & mighty

I was giving her the benefit of the doubt being the latest victim of film Twitter, but she's very stupid and has the nerve to be rude - you got to at least pick one.

Why would it be frustrating? People talk about costumes in movies, especially when it's a period piece. They're actresses promoting a movie. What is the interviewer supposed to ask her about, trade policy? Maybe she should have asked her why she's cozying up to an alleged child molester who married his f**king adopted DAUGHTER

A lot of male journalists resign the costume questions to actresses only; her disdain was really misplaced in this situation though, and she handled it in the most entitled and dismissive way
