Omg I didn't realize she was that actress, I rewatch Utena episodes regularly so this breaks my heart. Her Japanese actress died of cancer as well.

Less than a few months ago she and some of her friends organized a GoFundMe page because she couldn't afford the cost of treatment, in typical American fashion. RIP. These incidents happen far too often and it is reprehensible how the sick are treated in this country.
