Glad she moved on from her Bangerz sound tbh. It also wouldn't have survived today's climate since Black voices are more loud than they were in 2013. Miley shouldn't say the old music she made is bad or anything and act like Post Malone but I'm glad she became comfortable with who she is and embraced a new sound. Even if Bangerz has like one or two good songs I like.

Miley recently made comments complaining about how songs from Bangerz should've been nominated for Grammy's due to their sales and cultural impact. So clearly she still stands by her work from that era.

Glad to hear that and she's absolutely right. Cause I think a few years ago there were some articles written on her downplaying that era but maybe it was Chris Hemsworth's impact on her psyche, now THAT was a bug in the system.

Yes I remember her downplaying that era when she released Younger Now. Probably was Liam's influence because She Is Coming sounded like Bangerz part 2, so she returned to that sound and style after her divorce.

Well I mean she is being honored with a Disney award. She has to somewhat acknowledge all the trash talk she did on Disney back then.
