Obsession Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) It's not impossible (Antonoff did do one of Kendrick's other disses) but I don't know what that would sound like, and Taylor's not that great when she steps into hip-hop. 55 minutes ago, AlbumOfTheYear said: She has rock music? She's been dipping into rock music since Fearless - "You Belong With Me" is a pop rock song. Most of her music between then and Red has some form of rock influence ("Better than Revenge", "Haunted", "State of Grace", even "All Too Well" is pop rock). It creeped back up a teensy bit on Tortured Poets ("Guilty As Sin"). Edited August 11 by Obsession 1

Lemon Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Add Blood Orange to the Alchemist and that would be lovely I think.
Marla Singer Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Dear Finneas, I'm sorry that girl is your sister, let me be serious 2

He would help her find pockets and it would likely be more in studio collaboration than Alch sending beats. Personally, I could hear her over his Abstract Hip Hop beats like the following, perhaps with tweaks here and there on her end to fit the song. I think his more melodic offerings would also fit her with tweaks on her end, like this one Her Don Juan's Daughter possibly... Make it happen

I'm glad that the other Swiftie gave examples because that was actually helpful, and I agree with them. So thanks, @Obsession Please don't take every question as an attack. I promise you that there are more people who are unfamiliar with Taylor's catalogue (even outside her singles, which is what the GP knows) than you think. 1
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) I don't want R&Blor. She should work with Ariel Rechtshaid and give us her Night Time, My Time instead. Imagine her Love In Stereo Edited August 11 by YourFavoriteWeapon
professor2000 Posted August 12 Posted August 12 I need him to drop the Doja Cat songs first. Then we can talk about Taylor.
Soda Pop Queen Posted August 12 Posted August 12 I mean, atp anyone would be better than Jack Antonoff. She needs someone to push her. 1
