ttsmu Posted August 8 Posted August 8 SCARY I hope they cancel the rest of the tour. It's not worth to risk your life for a Taylor Swift concert. 1 2 15

The terrorists targeting the concert weren't actually in contact with larger groups but instead were very similar to school shooters who use online research who try to create bombs to supplant their stabbing/shooting. They caught all the terrorists in vienna so for the remaining dates the tour isn't more at risk than it was before.

Can't they go to a museum, a park, a nightclub? Do they have to gather, cry and make friendship bracelets like their dog died? This is pretty creepy. I been saying. They're in Vienna ffs. Like look around tf? 2 3
IBeMe Posted August 8 Posted August 8 hearing stuff like this really triggers my anxiety and makes me want to be a recluse and just not socialize at all IRL....I Hate It Here sometimes... 2

Saintlor Posted August 8 Posted August 8 No statement from Taylor yet? Is she worried about angering terrorists and accidentally triggering someone to want to do it on another date? 1

A big celebrity acknowledging being affected by terrorist threats would embolden more of them. That's what they want: attention, being feared, etc. 5

Live To Tell Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I feel bad for Austrian swifties, I hope she returns some time in the future, when it gets safer, for a make up show. Also the security scans at the arena entrances should definitely be taken much more seriously now. Stay safe yall 3

Lulento Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I was supposed to fly tomorrow to Vienna with my friends for the concert on Saturday but they all cancelled their flights. I know safety comes first and I am extremely happy that nothing happened, however, I can't really describe the disappointment I feel. I was looking forward to this moment for more than a year… and now, it's suddenly gone. 10

Except people do/did that in the days leading up to concert(s) or after that. Like me and my friends. The only creepy thing is this comment to be honest. It's like you are trying to police what/when/why can people do certain things. 5 1
HitMeHard Posted August 9 Posted August 9 (edited) Just ironic how the same people who chanted "from the river to the sea" now realize how absurd it is.... I hope everyone are safe, and will stay safe. I cancled my ticket last minute because of tests season and sadly I couldnt travel Edited August 9 by HitMeHard 5

cuteboyzay Posted August 9 Posted August 9 To think this ACTUALLY happened tho at an Ariana concert. It's f*cking insane. Any Swiftie or Taylor hater that (I'm sure af) will use this as a potential drag later need to rethink because it's creepy af.

Makes me wonder what our own authorities even do. Here's the whole conference but actually it gets so much worse. Yesterday some Austrian tv had an interview with a terrorist expert. The guy said that currently Austrians law does not allow to spy on ppl on their WhatsApp/telegram/signal etc. Only on their phone calls (don't know if it also includes sms)!!!!! This is sick! So that's why the US informed them! Because the terrorist used telegram and they cannot spy on it in Austria!! This is sick
PieceBy Posted August 9 Posted August 9 It seems a bit out of place that they (Taylor's team/Taylor) didn't have time for a quick statement (just sorry the Vienna concerts got cancelled because of the safety and planned terrorist attack) but did for releasing new album variants (even if it's us-exclusive). Its a digital release on Taylor website so they are in full control of it. It's a bit inappropriate in my opinion and hurts a little 4 1 8
Bosque Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Another suspect was arrested today in connection with the planned attack
kellebrity98 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Budapest would be a perfect for a rescheduled date since it's very close to Hungary
