These suspects are the same as school shooters. Angry aimless young men who want to go out inflicting pain on the world. They are very similar to the Christian U.K. stabber that killed 3 young swifties.

Their ideology doesn't matter.  It's just something they use to glorify their petulant childlike tantrums. If it wasn't the quaran, it would be  inceldom, environmentalism , racism , sexism etc etc

Damn, that's serious...

Must be super upsetting for the fans, but safety first.

Not Swifties mass gather on the street of Vienna to sing Taylor's songs.....

Glad that they are having some fun after the horrible news.

Personally, knowing that there are terrorists still at large, I would try to stay away from any Taylor related mass gathering. I hope everyone stays safe, but these street parties are not the smartest thing to do in this situation

I understand the disappointment of having something you planned cancelled on you but they're in one of the most beautiful and culture rich cities in the world. Can't they go to a museum, a park, a nightclub? Do they have to gather, cry and make friendship bracelets like their dog died? This is pretty creepy.

The Islamophobia in here….. yall are disgusting trying to encourage such narrative.

I didn't make up those quotes. They're literally written in this unholy book.

and yes, we should be afraid, judging on what happened in Vienna. Stop being weak. There's just too many idiots out there believing in everything. Why should I not be alert and afraid?

  • Radicalised Islamist had recorded a video claiming responsibility
  • Attack was due to take place today
  • Teen had detonators and fake police vehicle blue siren and 'thinks it is right to kill non-believers'

The "I" in ISIS stands for Islamic :biblio:

I myself am not religious, my best friend is Muslim, many of my friends and my ex partner are Muslims, I lived in Muslim country BUT check the list of terrorist attacks in last 30 years and how many are by Muslim people and how many are from the other religions and that's not only in Europe or US, also in countries like Philippines and Indonesia for example besides Arabic countries.

It is not phobia when there are facts

Yeah.. and posting them online too, not like the city's main square is some hidden spot anyway.

it's hard to generalize whole continent. poland is super safe. i've never been even second guessing coming home from a party, on foot, through whole city in the middle of night, half conscious

It is because the former "Eastern Block" countries  dont give immigrant such high financial support therefore it is not so "attractive" for them to go there, live there and create communities. They will rather go to France, Netherlands, Austria, Germany and Baltic countries, and that is why it is looks the way it looks there.

Unfortunately we live in times when every big social gathering will be potential risk :/

Bold to assume that can be called a fandom anymore

I mean this is really nice but isn't it still dangerous for them to gather like that?

The city is very safe and the threat was very much stopped. An impromptu gathering is highly unlikely a focus point for an "attack" either way.

Are they supposed to go to a museum, or a park 24 hours a day while they're there? Are they supposed to go to a nightclub in the afternoon? Or can they take one hour of their day to do whatever they want and then do something else? You don't seriously think they'll stay there all day doing this, right?

It's a damn shame that people cannot even enjoy a concert nowadays.

Smh.

Good for them. Still seizing the moment and sharing the love they have for her music in a more intimate way. In some ways that could be more memorable than the concert itself.

And......... Why would they not be allowed to do that if they want to?

Such an awesome fan base! I hope they spend their entire day doing whatever they want, even if it means spending the entire day singing Taylor songs in the streets of the city.
