Austria kinda failed her, their homeland security and special inteliigence service must be the absolute pits. She was able to tour Europe very safely up until now. Better Mistakes Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I feel like she'll cancel the London dates next week, what with this happening and then the current riots in the Uk that have occurred as a result of the stabbing of the children attending their Taylor Swift themed dance class.
JustHoran Posted August 8 Posted August 8 It's sad for the fans but everyones safety (and Taylor's) is what is most important
Borsi Posted August 8 Posted August 8 This is absolutely terrible, I'm so sorry for her fans, and for her too.

You writing about special intelligence when you are clearly missing the basic one yourself. What a stupid comment.
Komet Posted August 8 Posted August 8 It's always hard to comment on these because of the hypotheticals, but if this was an US + INTERPOL thing, than yeah it would've been serious enough to cancel the show. Sucks for everbody, but I think ultimately people will be glad they're safe. Hopefully it can be rescheduled for some future date.
Troll Idle Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Safety first, so I'm glad they cancelled. So sad to see thousands of fans anticipating one of the best experiences of their lifetime destroyed by some psychopaths.
TouchinFree Posted August 8 Posted August 8 13 hours ago, Sannie said: Not buying it. Most likely a planted story so Taylor can use the "it's dangerous" excuse when not endorsing Kamala. She doesn't want to risk her money anymore. Wtf is this crap? This isn't Stan war please reevaluate your everything because....... On a side note, I Hope she takes extra precaution and hires EXTRA tight security wherever she goes next. Usually those deranged terorrists have "sleeping cells" or "plants" where they'd have a target. I hope she has a team around her that care for her safety and others first and foremost.
fromily Posted August 8 Posted August 8 so awful, and so grateful that the authorities were able to identify the threat and get the word out beforehand, even if they weren't able to totally neutralise the situation. hoping they find the alleged (?) co-conspirators soon, but even if they do, this whole situation is going to be very difficult to manage moving forward. a foiled terrorist plot might inspire copycats at future shows and authorities in the UK are already working overtime given recent events there, rendering the uk dates extra vulnerable. at the end of the day both taylor and her fans deserve to be and feel safe and I hope whatever decisions comes out of this reflect that.
MonsterTown Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Good on Vienna's Gov officials, this is the best way to stay safe people. at this point who cares about re-sale $$ or hotel/fly bills your own life is priceless!!!!...i don't want another moment like Ariana on her tour... 2
pinktennisfreak Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I know so many people from Balkan who booked flights, hotel, got there. Feeling sorry for them. Awful news!!

But I'm not surprised when people can't even distinguish the police workforce and homeland security in here. Police did a fantastic job and probably saved tons of lives but some of them are still running around creating an unsafe environment. But at the end of the day, she cancelled. Those fuckers wanted to create "fear" and they kinda accomplished their goal. It should've never gone to that point. 11 hours ago, Eóghan said: Their intelligence isn't that good because they foiled it last minute, hence why she had to cancel because the risk is still there and some of them are still in the wild. If they were really that good it would've been foiled weeks ago; those fuckers always prepare those attacks months in advance. You think a country like France who's doing the biggest sports competition in the world right now didn't foil tons of possible terrorist attacks in the past 10 days, believe me they did and their intelligence did it weeks in advance to avoid this kind of situation. But you guys are right, they still did good but they could've done better if they were truly prepared.
PieceBy Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Cant she just add 3 London Shows for us who were going See her in Vienna?

Elsewhere she would have likely added more Wembly dates months ago ( she was able to add one of two after a wrestling event cancelled but no chance for the next occupants after her) 2
ONOPKA Posted August 8 Posted August 8 this also really shows how the security teams need to disperse the crowds listening to the shows outside threats like this are very real and adding (tens of) thousands of people outside could be dangerous. i think they expected a further 22k people outside the vienna shows. it could have been a real catastrophe 4
PieceBy Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Does anyone know how dangerous it Is in Vienna? They caught these 2 offendrers but at the same time they cancelled concerts so it doesnt make Sense. Is it Safe to go outside and do normal Tourist things or it's too dangerous?!?

OnlyManInTheWorld Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I'm so sorry for Taylor and everyone involved in the tour. She never cancels her shows, like ever. Devastating for the whole crew and fans.

Thank you for the response. So Austria has zero info regarding the Plans and US had to inform them and yet Austria isnt even able to catch them?! Do they need help from others countries to do that too?! This is sick…
Liafen Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I wonder why she hasn't posted yet. Either they're contemplating on whether is it best to cancel the London shows aswell, or they're trying to accomodate 3 new shows in Vienna or elsewhere. No reason(?) being silent other than these I think. [This isn't a dunk on her, before y'all attack me lol, I was gonna go to the show on Saturday ] 1
