Walk_Away21 Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) Flashback to a week ago and people were laughing at a Brat wearing a shirt wishing death on Swifties. And I got warned... Like the joke I made wasn't the greatest, but seriously. Edited August 7 by Walk_Away21 5

It wouldn't be smartest decision to announce to whole world that her concert was going to have a terror attack and make her next shows even bigger targets...

BYoncé Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I'm glad she's prioritizing the safety of herself, her crew, and her fans. If something happened it would be a tragedy, I still remember how harrowing the reports were in real time when Manchester happened to Ariana and how much that affected fans and the artist emotionally afterwards. Hopefully Taylor will do something special for those fans on a future tour to come to them, but I also don't think it's a good idea to reschedule soon or have these dates go on if what I read was true and they were still looking for 3 suspects related to the two they jailed? So it's for the best.

Cancellation notice was made by the promoter not taylor's team. 3 suspect thing seems to be misinfo. haven't found a proper source for that. but i think what's likely is the austrain police need a few more days to confirm that there are no other conspirators. 1
klynb Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I can't help but feel really worried for the rest of the shows :( I hope they'll all be safe and security stays on it

Believe me these people are brainwashed, and many could do evil things in name of their imaginay sky daddy because it's allowed in their (un)holy book. All abrahamic religions are inherently evil and full of hate, it's a fact. The world would be better without religion. Next topic please. False. Then you were raised in a terrorist household because I was raised a Muslim. It's very simple, kill one person and it is the equivalence of killing entirety of humanity and you will GUARANTEED end up in hell for eternity. Although I have my own issues with the religion, but that is rule #1. It is the same reason why suicide is forbidden as well. You simply can't end a soul including yourself. Self defence is another thing though. Jihad is basically a self defence concept too. But it was turned political. 3 hours ago, Hitchhiker said: Being this loud and stupid is incredible Syrians Muslim Shia or Sunni are literally being killed by them. You need to do an HIV checkup its already in your brain dumbass. Well that can be debated. ISIS is purely an extremist Sunni ideology. Hence some teachings in Sunni schools are scary af. Plus, ISIS' main target is Shia Muslims. Hence why they tried to occupy Iraq in 2014 ( since Shia's are incharge) and failed. Extremist Sunnis simply believe Shias "aren't muslim" and killing them will take you to heaven "70 virgins" Not to mention ISIS is funded by the U.S,Europe, Qatar, Saudi, Emirates and recruited by North African and Arabs of Sunni backgrounds predominantly. It's such a great political ideology and division of deception that serves the outer circle.
DougAF Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Girl the swifties will find the other 3 people that haven't been caught yet and have them turned over to the authorities by next week. They don't play 1
Enrique523 Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Safety is more important than anything so they made the right choice.

Taylor must really be intent on taking a break when this tour wraps - good for her. Mylène Farmer experienced the same thing last summer when her two shows at Stade de France (on June 30 and July 1) were cancelled due to the riots near the venue. The first available dates at SDF were 27 and 28 September 2025 (yes, as in 15 months later). She also added a third date for 1 October to defray the costs of setting up and dismantling the show for nothing essentially in 2024. Why the delay? Fall sports, stadium and transit system renovations for the Olympics, the Olympics and Paralympics themselves. She'll be setting her show up again (100 truckloads worth of gear) as soon as the Olympic rings get taken down. Taylor has to deal with the same types of issues and more. Can't see her shipping the show back to Austria and getting her crew back together for a single weekend sometime next summer when the weather warms up again. And yeah, she must be getting burned out with the tour and ready to live a more normal life again. Edited August 8 by Mountain_Aardvark

PoisonedIvy Posted August 8 Posted August 8 The anxiety that is going to be coursing through Taylor & her fellow performers veins on that next Eras date in London is unfathomable.

The show got cancelled so they can't recoup any of that money. Yes, that freaking sucks. They probably spent thousands on flights and accomodations. But at the same time, their safety is priceless... - GREAT decision
AvadaKedavra Posted August 8 Posted August 8 (edited) As many say here, this is not exclusive to Taylor. It could have happened at any concert featuring a big popular artist who attracts large crowds or has significant relevance Taylor was the target cause she's the one bringin the attention. Props and respect to the Austrian police and intelligence for stopping this before a big tragedy happened. Its time for europe to battle these extremists linked with isil and insurgent groups Edited August 8 by AvadaKedavra
Tylerbv Posted August 8 Posted August 8 The selfishness of the few rabid "stans" on Twitter A potential terrorist plot was somehow found out and yet you want to start a hashtag to force Taylor to pay you for your flight? Good lord people are awful.
