Brooklyn Baby Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I love going to the dentist, keep my mouth very clean, haven't had a cavity in 8 years. But someone told me that they haven't been going to the dentist for 3 years and are allowing their teeth to decay so badly that they need 5 root canals because they're afraid of the experience. Are you afraid of the dentist? Do you enjoy going to the dentist? What are your experiences?
WildAmerican Posted August 7 Posted August 7 i'm fine w it, just went actually i feel like people in a regular cadence are usually fine with it, but the longer you wait and don't go, the fear gets worse 1
Mr_campbell Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I love the dentist! I had braces and veneers now my teeth are amazing 1
nostalgic Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Nope. My dentist is a hottie and I quite enjoy his fingers in my mouth 4
sweetblindness Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I'm not afraid of the dentist per se, but I get nervous about going because I'm always paranoid I'll get some sort of bad news about my teeth. I also dread the cleaning because some of my teeth are sensitive and that can be uncomfortable.

Props to you for getting it done even through your nervousness. 1

Thank you I just went last month and am pretty diligent about going every six months, luckily my slight nervousness isn't debilitating bc I know some people are terrified of the dentist. 1
Pikachoo Posted August 7 Posted August 7 after you've had braces, a quick once a year cleaning is nothing. but ive been eating a lot of sweets these past few months, hopefully no cavities
GentleEarthquake Posted August 7 Posted August 7 No. I need to keep my mouth clean for some important guests
Sheep Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) yes but only because I'm a serial **** s*****g ****** and am always worried that I'm being judged for it. I used to not mind at all until I found out they can tell Edited August 7 by Sheep 1
Raver Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Nah I'm very proud of my teeth so I do go every now and then to the dentist. 1
Buffy Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I have seen very young people in my life in their 30s lose all their teeth wearing a full set of dentures because they didn't go to the dentist for 10 years. Some people do a poorer job with their dental hygiene than others. Your mouth is a gateway to diseases. Bacteria and such can get into your bloodstream and into your heart. Take care of your dental health people! 1

pigeon Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Yes but I am still going. One time I was there at the latest timeslot and dentist's assistant told me that she was so happy that I was the last patient today because it was noted that I had a good mouth hygiene. It made me so happy considering I suck dick and eat ass. 1
selena_lavigne Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I had eaten a mango and felt my teeth wiggle and i was scared my teeth were gonna fall out especially cuz i read on google you lose 2 to 3 teeth on average for every 10 years you smoke. So i went and he said everything was great except my gums were a little inflamed and no, my teeth were very intact and not falling out.
