NOW Posted August 6 Posted August 6 (edited) When's she ever gonna stan for Blue Banisters though... Edited August 6 by NOW 10
AlbumOfTheYear Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I'm not super fond of that album (UV girlie tho) and even I cannot deny that album being a "moment"
ScorpiosGroove Posted August 6 Posted August 6 lana can't stop being one of the most influential artists ever and i can stand it 3
Shimenawa Posted August 6 Posted August 6 (edited) It was great at the time but she has made many better albums after this one. But yeah Lana is very influential Edited August 6 by Shimenawa
Saintlor Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Im starting to feel like the younger generation always praise the veteran pop stars since they know stans will love them for it Eg: People loving Chappell praising Hannah/Miley and all the other girls
Katamari Posted August 6 Posted August 6 i glad we are allowed to praise this album again and give it its flowers
Finish Ticket Posted August 6 Posted August 6 i genuinely can't remember my life before lana del rey. i don't know how i got through the working week without her songs. forever a queen! love her so so much 2

Gorjesspazze9 Posted August 6 Posted August 6 First time I ever heard Lana. I heard Blue Jeans and Off to the races on one of my friends IPod touch. Then Summer time sadness cuz it was played at every college party. So then when I actually listen to the full album for myself, I was blown away. There was nothing like it to me 2
Lasso Posted August 6 Posted August 6 11 minutes ago, Saintlor said: Im starting to feel like the younger generation always praise the veteran pop stars since they know stans will love them for it i honestly find it refreshing, specially in cases like billie where those influences pay off in good music. i'd rather have someone praise their references than act like they reinvented the wheel 1

She stanned Gaga and Lana in the beginning and I'm pretty sure she was a Charli XCX fan during the True Romance days. This VMA teaser was a bit of a rip off her 90s Goth-inspired style at the time:

Digitalism Posted August 6 Posted August 6 It was one of albums that changed music. It didn't invent anything since a lot of underground/alternative artists were doing stuff like that but it made it mainstream

LFL was AMAZING sis wth. I'd say Every Lana album, up until whatever she released after NFR. She'd truly lost her craft after NFR. All the chems and bridges under waters above the sky **** can choke Edited August 6 by TouchinFree
