I can see why she responded the way she did because of the things that transpired in this era with her personal life growth versus where she was during Positions

She is back  spilling as always. Eternal Sunshine is her best era since Sweetener, the other two in between didn't even get proper eras.

Some of her fans are crazy. This is her best album and best era in ages. They spent like 8 months crying for a single performance of the lead in 2020-2021.

Yeah - this is why I'm laughing at anyone saying the Positions era is better than Eternal Sunshine. Positions is a great album, however that era itself was a mess - we only got 3 videos (and 2 were for the same song, 34+35, which is one of her weakest and poorly aging singles imo).  She only released two singles officially. She only did a couple performances on Vevo. I understand it was peak pandemic so resources were very limited/restrained, so it's not totally her fault, but that era was lowkey a "drop the album and dip" situation for fans. ES has felt like a proper era with a concept, several singles, performances, etc.

 

The best thing about that era was the fantastic lead single, but I don't even remember her performing it anywhere?
