Britney working on biopic with movie producer Marc Platt

THIS IS HUGE.

Why everyone keeps saying x or x mediocre actress should play her? We need an UNKNOWN who can sing and dance but still have that high-pitched voice Britney had.

This will bring in a lot of new fans among the younger generation who just see her as that crazy lady on instagram. They will see her iconic performances on the big screen and realize why she was such a big deal in early 2000's pop culture.

We need a new soundtrack with new recorded tracks using the unknown actress's voice and Britney's (what Burhman did with Elvis and Austin Butler) so that they sound similar to her. Maybe even Taylor should record a song for it. This has potential to be huge.

Love this for her and is definitely the correct move after the success of the book. It doesn't make sense to return to music/performing when this book still has legs she can keep profiting from.

My only complain is that we're like four years out from this movie coming out. Figure'd they need a year or two for pre-production, then another year to shoot it and do post-production, then another year to release it :toofunny2:

I'm the first person to hate on TikTokers, but after hearing her old Louisiana accent, I genuinely think Addison Rae could pull it off. Not to mention she got positive reviews for her performance in 'Thanksgiving'

Yes, she got famous through TikTok, but that's just a platform of our era, in the same way the Mickey Mouse club was kinda the only way for kids to get famous in the 90s.

Plus she has experience with being on-set. Even if they find a Southern girl with a closer look, there's no guaranteeing she'd be good.

If people can get past the fact that she got famous on TikTok, they might see that she's got the face, the body, the accent, the flexibility, and experience being on-set.

Not mad at Addison Rae but I doubt it even though she has a lot of similarities
