Bubble Tea Posted August 1 Posted August 1 I'm a lifelong Britney fan but I thought "the woman in me" was terribly written and glossed over so many parts of her life that I wanted to learn more about. Hopefully the film can unpack some of that stuff. 1

UnusualBoy Posted August 1 Posted August 1 This may be good so I'm perched, especially since she's involved in it.

ChooseyLover Posted August 1 Posted August 1 This is not what excites me more as a fan, but if it's what excites her and she's an active part of it then I'll be glad to support. Maybe she needs a bit of closure after the documentaries didn't portray her like she wanted? 1
Breathe On Moi Posted August 1 Posted August 1 I think it's too early for her to do this, not even gonna lie. but I'm the stan and will dumbly support at the end of the day so

ItsJustMe. Posted August 1 Posted August 1 it's too early, britney is still young and her story is no where near over this could be really cool tho if done well, especially since so much of her music reflects her life. and seeing how her book sold millions all over the world, I could see this doing well, especially in today's world where a Barbie movie makes a billion dollars. yall need to stop casting these old actresses as britney tho. she was the teen queen and should be played by a 20 something actress that they can age up with make up but wew she's such a legend 2 1

MatiRod Posted August 1 Posted August 1 I was hoping for an art house take, but big budget glitzy biopic makes the most sense for Hollywood. This will be the most sought-after role for every young actress. 1

This I wanted a pensive, sophisticated take that focuses maybe on a single day of her life in 2007 with flashbacks and flash forwards showing some parts of the rest of her life or something. Like 'Spencer'. 2
Jeremiah Posted August 1 Posted August 1 A biopic makes me terribly nervous because you know damn well you can't pack her life story in a 2-hour film, which will inevitably affect the quality to the eyes of fans. But if she's involved then I assume it'll be done her way, so I support!

This project seems very "Britney" motivated to me. She's made it very clear that she has no interest in making music right now, and this seems like the most logical step to take after the memoir. Especially since it seems obvious that Britney wants to tell her life story and everything that has happened to her. This will be a much healthier way for her to approach that rather than venting on Instagram.

slw84 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Millie Bobby Brown or Sydney Sweeney Biopic Soundtrack with many tracks being Britney but then some other tracks for songs that inspired her. GH volume 3 It's great they secured rights to her music too. A GH and Biopic soundtrack would be great this decade.
Richie.Valdez Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I hope this gets released on 4DX.. the Gimme More scenes whewwww
Slap Posted August 2 Posted August 2 The way this thread has less replies than the ones about her dating life. Very excited for this, I would prefer a miniseries but if it's a hit movie that would be such a moment. People want to celebrate her career and Gen z is frothing at the mouth to have their moment to connect with her.

I also just know that a lot of people have historically wanted to "tell" Britney's story and it's no doubt going for a very high price, so I fear who her team may be signing control to. Many more hands in a movie (and tight schedules with financial risk) than a book.
