discussion Do you prefer the beach or going to the pool?

For my fellow ATRL swimmers, are you a beach / ocean type of person on holiday or someone who loves to unwind at the pool?

I 100% prefer to be by the pool than at the beach… the ocean in Portugal is just too cold for me

Beach always. I like to be active and not just sit around. The pool is boring.

Currently planning a Greek/Italy/Turkey cruise. Not loving the thought of doing a cruise personally, but it's a group thing and won't say no to going to some Greek isles.

My house has a pool and most of the time I prefer it. But we have great beaches in Florida I do enjoy going to a few times every year.

omg slay i'm doing an Italy/Croatia/Greece I leave this weekend. I'm not doing a cruise tho I prefer to stay on land

Tbh I love pools to actually SWIM swim (underwater and such, behave like a fish) but i get bored quickly.

I 100% much prefer to stay on land too, but that wasn't an option for this trip unfortunately. At least I'll have some people to go adventure and do hikes and physical activities with on shore.

If I'm swimming, obviously the ocean. But if I'm lounging, neither. I'm not a bask in the sun and let myself bake to a crisp while being uncomfortably hot kind of gorl. I'd rather lounge in the shade of a big leafy tree and a good book (my phone, if I'm being honest).

The beach, only for the view. But if I want to swim, I'd go to a pool.

Beach if the water is nice. I'd rather go to the pool if the sea is ****. But I don't go to pools on vacation cause I pick places based on the sea.

Beach for special occasions, pool for relaxing and swimming. The beach is nice, but I hate getting sand inside my car and all over my belongings.

I don't really like swimming that much so I prefer the beach so I can just sunbathe.
