The horse and the knight

That one metal band with the beheaded Marie-Antoinettes, Aya Nakamura's performance which was fuuull of pyrotechnics, the Europop party moment with the dancers on the Seine river and the queens on the runway bridge (my absolute fave), the metallic knight with her horse riding through the water and the Eiffel Tower light show! 

 

Also, mixing the show with the athletes' parade was a smart move (the parade is usually at the very end, right before the torch finale, which makes it painful to watch) and doing this ceremony out of a stadium was a very ambitious idea... Impressive ceremony through and through!
