Dolly is known to avoid talking about politics but she is as liberal as a country girl can be.
 

Is this the closest the universally beloved icon will get to endorsing Kamala?

I love Dolly. She is a Democrat, and has been since the '70's.

 

I'll post it here but she done an interview in 1978 where she (lightly) spoke about her admiration for President Jimmy Carter at the time. 
 

I actually think she's one of the very few country artists from her generation who isn't a republican.

Yeah Dolly is clearly liberal, the fact that she supported Black Lives Matter is crazy when you think of her age and genre.

 

I highly doubt she'd support Trump.
