mchl Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Clearly a flame bait headline the kid is choosing to do this. Let's not also forget his father is Guy Ritchie who has quite a coin purse himself. 4
ThousandMiles Posted July 20 Posted July 20 so a rich kid who wants to cosplay as a poor person, awesome! 1 1
nightowl Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Some people say as if madonna pushed him out of her house to do this. Read the article. He did on his own and has a new girlfriend. He stays with her. MOm can't let him bring his new gf into her house to stay every night and do the night thing. He's in love. He got independent somehow. He has to meet his ends. Nothing wrong. I don't know why people get upset on Twitter or anywhere while they can't even read the article and comprehend the situation. I'm sure they will be the first one to do the same thing if they get a new gf or bf. 2
Happylittlepunk Posted July 20 Posted July 20 If I was Madonna I would not allow my kid to do this because in a way it does reflect bad on her. I think she should've just pushed her son to go music school or university since he seems too be into music. Pay for schooling and decent apartment (not luxury). Give him some money for food and water. But Tell the kid he is on his own if he wants money to go out, dinning out, hobbies, interest, traveling or buy things like clothes, shoes, video games etc. he needs to get a part time job in anything. That actually would force him to get a job or 2 too get the things he wants. Plus also it would allow him to be independent and study something he wants without his mom worrying about him. 1

Read the article before commenting geniuses Someone as rich as him cannot simply "choose to live a humble life" lol. There's no such thing as humble when you come from money like this. Knowing you have something to fall back on when you need it makes it really easy to play pretend like this. But he's not doing anything wrong. Let these rich people roleplay if they want. 1 minute ago, Happylittlepunk said: If I was Madonna I would not allow my kid to do this because in a way it does reflect bad on her. Madonna can't force him to live off of her lol. This doesn't reflect any way onto her because she's not causing it. Edited July 20 by Sannie 1
Soda Pop Queen Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) oh David, baby what is you doing? Is Madonna co-signing this "young, dumb and broke" cosplay? If he wants a real world experience, go out and get an actual job or sumn. Don't scavenge trash-bins for food for "fun", the ****? lol Edited July 21 by Soda Pop Queen 1 1 1
TipToe Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) This is really stupid. Unless he's trying to be "funny" and not telling the whole story, which is tone deaf still. Very like his mother, lol. Edited July 21 by TipToe 1

Alongoria13 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 He's probably too aware he's a nepo baby and wants to find his own path. A lot of miserable people in here, lol. 2
Radical Pessimism Posted July 21 Posted July 21 And us less unfortunate people are still poor and don't have wealthy parents as safety net. This isn't a game, Madonna's son.
on the line Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Well, at least we know the entire family is insufferable. 2

You clearly don't have a child. Here Madonna is doing what she believes is good or what's right for him. It's in her nature as a mother to prioritize that above what reflects on her. There is nothing bad about rich parents not spoiling their children. It's one excellent way for them to learn how not to blow thru thier inheritance — not act as if money grows on trees. Shinning Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Huh? He was just on stage with her when I saw her a few months ago
Richie.Valdez Posted July 21 Posted July 21 He was just traveling the world with her? was he scavenging in the UK, Germany, France, Brazil, Sweden? That's talent
Oktober Knight Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Madonna did the same thing.... She refused to turn to her father for help even when she was sleeping on the street and ate popcorn to survive 2 1
Bad_vocal_technique Posted July 21 Posted July 21 It's great he's doing this for his personal growth, but he could've kept it for himself.

SleepNoMore Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Rich kids often brag about "making it on their own" and trying to live without their parents money to see what it's like. But it's just a game and he knows he has money waiting for him if he actually needed it. I bet Madonna prob also encourages them to discover life like this too though since she moved to New York with no money before she became big. But obvs he's ultimately fine. 1
