Genuine struggle is not ever going to be on the table for a child of MADONNA so putting him in scenarios where he's at least surrounded by people who don't have his safety net is the closest possible alternative. Speaking from first hand experience, a lot of people born into any significant wealth literally never mentally develop into adults because of their lacking responsibilities and zero consequences to any action they take. She's doing her job as a mother, he's a CHILD and trying to learn the lessons being thrown at him. OT: certain tabloids, the thread title, and several tweets choosing the phrasing "Madonna's adopted son" is nauseating. The source article for all of this includes a lengthy quote about how Banda is her closest child. Cut the **** we all know what type of judgements you're trying to invoke with that phrasing. You're totally right, it is just unfortunate that this kid and others like him don't seem to know when to stop yapping around people that actually don't have a choice about being poor 2
