Why would he use Comic Sans for an apology?? :biblio:

Well he had to apologize cause 3 of his teammates in Chelsea unfollowed/blocked him on social media, Wesley Fofana actually called him out and now he has many racist insults and harassing comments by Argentinian fans.

And according to some unreliable sources, some players even called Chelsea and stated, it's either Enzo in the roaster or them, cause they don't want to play with him again.

Oh my... the amount of lies.

Peru and Argentina have an AMAZING relationship. In fact, Perú is one of the only countries in the world that still say that the Islas Malvinas belong to Argentina.

Argentina is the country with the most Bolivian migrants, all of whom enjoy rights as citizens (public health and education) and can apply for residency and citizenship. The northern borders are open so they can receive medical care in our hospitals even if they are not citizens.

Venezuelans consider Argentina to be the most friendly and supportive country during their migration due to Chavismo/Madurismo.

Regarding Brazil, our universities are FULL of Brazilians who have to come and study (FOR FREE and ON SCHOLARSHIPS) because they cannot access university education in their own country. Then they can freely leave with their degree in hand to practice their profession in THEIR COUNTRY, and no one complains about it. I recommend talking to them and seeing how grateful they are to have a neighboring country like Argentina.

Theyre very open to Colombian inmigrants :giraffe: I have so many friends who are studying there in Buenos Aires and they treat them really well.
Sorry if i was rude. Youre right. Every country has their rotten apples. Like the trumpsters in the state. Nazis in Europe. Putin fans in Russia.
Petristas / Uribistas in my country Colombia aka Shakiras Kingdom

There's real nice and awful people everywhere.  So many of our Argentinian ATRLERS are so cute. :gaycat5:

We cant make such a broad generalization of countries and lets not forget the roots of colonialism in Latinoamerica come from outside :gaycat3:

Countries are not a Monolith. They have millions of different worlds

Lets enjoy these bops better :gaycat2: i deleted my comment

Mbappé is not American, so why mention them?

I am pretty aware of that?

More than 50% of ATRLs are probably "americans" and they are exposed to this conflict between Europe and Latin America.

If they are going to have an opinion in this thread related to racism from Argentina to France , which I'm probably they will, it's proper to have a deeper and international understanding of racism and discrimination.

It's easy to insult harass a whole country for bad behavior of some individuals but not understanding the whole concept of third world country vs first world country, which is something mbappe mentioned about Latin America being inferior.

As an Argentine yes, that song is racist and transphobic, the purpose of the song is to insult the rival. It's something that football culture has, apparently only here, of using songs like "Chicanas." It's bad, but it's nothing more than that, there are worse songs used among the clubs here and the purpose is to humiliate the rival and the other responds worse. Most of the time it ends there in just one song, the problem here starts when a player sings it to a person from another country who doesn't understand it or in this case in a live on instagram. It's obviously wrong and out of place, and the French player has the right to be angry.

Argentina is one of the most racist countries worldwide and needs some corrective laws and education ASAP.

Yeah that's why Argentina abolished slaves in 1853 and everybody could have mixed kids, couples or whatever since 1813 while in the USA people had to go to different bathrooms until the mid 50's

the irony is that spainards love Argentina.. its like their pride and joy.  any other latam country, they love to downplay their colonial dominance/history.  oh but when its argentina, they love to have the world know "it was us."

The only Brazilians that go study in Argentina are underachievers who didn't get good enough grades to get into Brazilian universities, so they go to the Argentinians cause it's easy and cheap to get in  and when they come back they have to take a bunch of tests and adaptation courses. It's not highly regarded at all.

La Universidad de Buenos Aires escala 24 posiciones en un ranking mundial y recupera el primer puesto en América Latina

Ranking QS 2024: la UBA tiene seis carreras en el top 50 mundial y es la mejor clasificada del país

Oh my the fake news continue.

I suggest research before speaking!

This is so true. The fact so many of them are willing to defend those actions:

I have seen so many comments from Argentina's football fans supporting.

Such a disapointment. :ace:

That's why we have people from all over the region come study for free and have free healthcare, and most people choose Argentina because it's possible to have a better life (even considering the big economic problems we have).

Every country has their fair share of racism. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...

OT: This is related to the typical case of the first world attacking third-world countries and latinos being considered "inferior". While it's not right and I agree that Argentine players should be held accountable for their statements, let's not forget that this is an underlying issue that gets overlooked by football matches and competition.

Basically this. Argentina has a lot of issues but it is one of the most advanced countries in all things diversity, leading the region in immigration and LGBTQ+ legislation and has always been: In fact the reason why there are not many dark skinned people in the country, contrary to the historically and scientifically inaccurate genocide narrative that's being pushed the last couple years, is that Argentina abolished slavery in 1812 (50 years before USA and 75 years before Brazil) so enslaved Africans stopped being forced into the country over 200 years ago and the liberated slaves were assimilated and eventually mixed with Criollos.

As for the chant, I hated it from day one and I still think it is disgusting, but these type of chants are sadly very typical because it is just part of the country folklore. What matter though is that it doesn't really have a reflection in society, you can tell someone a slur as a joke and then grab a beer immediately after and nobody will be mad because you can spot the intentionality in the word. I rather live in a country where you can be teased for whatever rather than one that gets inflammated by a joke but has dark

skinned people shot at or suffocated to death, where gestating people cannot abort or the LGBT community doesn't have the same marriage conditions than heterosexual partners.

You are welcome to come and see how that European installed narrative doesn't apply. Argentina is one of the most progressive countries in the world and nobody will bat an eye at you being for whichever minority you identify as.
