campelo Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I don't get her, she has not been really working since 30 dropped. She is doing her 50 little shows per year and not challenging herself as an artist 2

NextBish90 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Honestly we don't need another lackluster like 30, so both sides are fine. We don't need it, she is a lazy millennial mom. Take your time in the next 20 years and release some futuristic EDM AI album called 70. (She will be 73 by then) Of course there will be a song called Woman's world.
Grizzo Posted July 16 Posted July 16 you know what? good for her she really has the best of both worlds: great voice, acclaimed albums, successful career AND having all the time in the world to raise her children, enjoy life and do whatever she wants honestly i'm jealous 4 1
Mordecai Posted July 16 Posted July 16 1 minute ago, ChooseyLover said: I agree. I feel like artists of her caliber should normalize putting out music often without necessarily attaching tours or big promo to it (even though I don't know how a major label would react to that). I know many of them can't help but songwrite constantly so why not just putting it out there for the sake of it? Yeah I think whether she admits it or not Adele definitely (at least subconsciously) feels the pressure to make excellent albums because of the high expectations everyone places on her. The long breaks make that even worse. I imagine Rihanna feels the same way as well. If she just puts the music out there (because let's be real, Adele is not going to flop) and lets playlisting and social media do all the heavy lifting I don't see the issue. But I suppose a large part of Adele's brand is her great personality and down to earth nature so she'll have to tap into that a bit 1
ohjulia Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I feel like Adele has always loved the process of creating and writing music but no the industry itself. This doesn't surprise me at all. Of course she loves the money that comes with it but I think that she's the kind of artist that genuinely does it for the music and not the money, if that makes sense. Whatever she decides to do, I hope it makes her happy, I'll be here for whatever that is. 5
Tylerbv Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I appreciate that she's candid about this, but stanning this ho is so hard sometimes

I will never understand how people can say that 30 is subpar theres a clear growth as an artist in there. Way more than going from 21 to 25. Its a great album lyrically, there's quite a few different things she did in there (My Little Love, etc) 7
UnusualBoy Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Hate her for this, ***** what break? Your last album was released 3 years ago and you've only been done gigs 2 days at weeks and even cancel some for ******* up your voice again. Love her but she's so hard to stan for.
chosensparkles Posted July 16 Posted July 16 honey, it's gonna be 3 years since you released 30 and you released that one 6 years after 25
Yes, AND Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I don't think she has anything left to give creatively. I don't even know what direction she could possibly take for the next album. 1 2

Just a Gay on ATRL Posted July 16 Posted July 16 She should just release a holiday album in 2025 or something to (yule)tide people over until her next studio album. It would sell like hotcakes. She doesn't have to make a single original song - the covers and her vocals will do all the work. 3
Illyboy Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I mean, as much as I love her voice, she has probably madeenough money to retire atp so I understand her.
