People can sit and discredit singing as a talent, then hear something like this and say its fine.  Ingrid and many other artists are strictly to be experienced through headphones and a DSP. Couldn't pay me enough to see them live.

The real answer is why somebody allowed this to happen? Did they just sign her up without any testing or rehearsal? Who thought it would be a good idea. My bet is that they did this intentionally to draw attention/views.
