Gui Blackout Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Gosh it went by so fast It's gonna be so weird waking up tomorrow with nothing to watch 3
blackstar Posted August 11 Posted August 11 did i miss anything from the closing ceremony? i just tuned in
MAKSIM Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Just now, blackstar said: did i miss anything from the closing ceremony? i just tuned in No, just the entrance of athletes and a medal ceremony. 1
Zaram Posted August 11 Posted August 11 The Alien would be an amazing outfit for gaga You better watch for LG7, sis.
MAKSIM Posted August 11 Posted August 11 The opening and closing ceremony lack dynamism. This segment is dragging.

OT: What's with French and their tendency to drag out performing sections longer than they should've been? Do you actually need that much time to decent from the sky? 1

Chemist Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Personally, this has been the Olympics I've watched the most, largely because it was in the same timezone (and an injury that kept me in bed for a whole week ). Will always remember these olympics Los Angeles is going to be a struggle (timezone wise) 4
GipJo Posted August 11 Posted August 11 The idea (lost Olympic memories found by aliens) is great theoretically, but the execution is so bland and poorly done so far. 1
Kavish Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I think this section was coordinated by the Greeks themselves. It was all fun and happy a while ago when the French was in control.
MAKSIM Posted August 11 Posted August 11 LA, you have one opportunity to be the true stunt queen of the world and outdo China when it comes to opening/closing ceremonies. Don't **** it up. 1

GipJo Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Every section is painfully longIt's like I'm watching a 5 hour long movie with subpar story. 2
Feanor Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Yeah nothing is beating the Beijing Olympics in terms of opening ceremonies with large crowd stunt works. Maybe Japan could have if the pandemic hadn't intervened. I think LA will try to impress by bringing out as many US stars as possible.
