It's sad that she had cancer when she was quite young and spent her last 9 years fighting it, and a divorce. This is just sad. But I admire her strength and bravery when dealing with all of those.

:( I have only ever known her through Prue, though the immediate lasting love for that character, and I guess the actress embodying Prue, stays with me until now. 25 years later.
Stopped watching Charmed after she left.

Had always rooted for her to make another smash after her Charmed departure (sadly there was none right?)

Felt awkward at the pro-longed drama with Alyssa until the very end (and I understand why she was continuing to speak her truth).

 

Man, this is so weird getting emotional. All those memories of begging mom to let me stay up to watch Charmed, and upon reflecting, I was only watching Charmed because of Shannen :(

I've never really gotten truly sad over a celebrity death before but this one is really, really sad. I grew up watching Charmed. That was my childhood with my cousins. We obsessed and pretended to be the characters in the show. Shannen left a lasting impression on us even to this day. She was truly one of the best things that happened to Charmed. I hate cancer so much and I hate that it took her from us. She was such a sweet person despite how Hollywood tried to villainize her when she got fired from 2 shows. Out of all the cast members, she was the most grounded out of them all. Underrated and under appreciated!  
 

Now that I'm older, I realized Shannen is the most approachable and most likable out of the cast. Her real life personality is just so sweet and authentic. She's the type of person I would want to have conversations with. I hope she went peacefully.

You can listen to it here too. Is it only 54 minutes? I just started listening. But wow Shannen had really, really sweet things to say about Alyssa replacing Lori Rom. I really wish we could've had Shannen speak about all the episodes. She said she never watched the show before other than the episodes she personally directed. Imagine the commentary we could've gotten with her rewatching the entire series for these podcast episodes! So sad ugh

So sad!! I didn't know Holly moved in with her? The fans commenting "we've lost her twice"  I hate this sooo much. I wonder if it happened suddenly? She sounded so full of life and energy on the latest podcast episodes….
