SoldierofLove Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) 4:57! Chanté sang that from the depths of her soul! She called on her Chinese ancestor, Jessie J, to hit that note! Edited July 13 by SoldierofLove 3
enchanted0 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 that was literally one of the funniest thing I've ever seen this year
Genius1111 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Whew! Ms Moore really did justice to Adele's Hello! Strangely enough, her rendition of Hello was only enough to be #4 in the competition that week. Judging from the Youtube commenters, they are speculating that the competition is fixed so that foreign singers will not be winning this time.
Genius1111 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 At 05:14, you can see Cindy Yen, who serves as Chante Moore're musical partner/collaborator. Cindy is a Taiwanese-American who was born in Houston. She auditioned for American Idol but was rejected. She later moved to Taiwan and launched her musical career. In 2015, she caused controversy by making this FB post.
Genius1111 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 If I'm not mistaken, this competition (Singer 2024) is the same competition that barred Charlie Puth from participating because he was professing pro-Israel views.
Victor Artur Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I love the fact 'Hello' became a staple song at these Asian singing reality competitions.
