glitch Posted July 12 Posted July 12 A rich white man getting away with murder once again (quite literally in this case) 6 2 2
Burn Posted July 12 Posted July 12 He needs to be under the jail. It was always clear that he'd get away with it, sadly. We've seen this before. Celebrity commits crime, the courts go through the motions of a trial just to make sure it looks like something is being done, and celebrity gets away with it. 1 2
livelikemusic Posted July 12 Posted July 12 This is because of law enforcement and prosecution withholding evidence. This has no baring on his behaviour on-set and everything to do with prosecution and law enforcement without evidence. 1 1
livelikemusic Posted July 12 Posted July 12 AND one of the prosecutors QUIT in the middle of the case today ⏤ this is not looking good for prosecution nor the state, at all. 1
LegaMyth Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I mean, why do you guys think he's guilty? Whoever was in charge of props should be guilty. 2 9
Popular Post jordanjm Posted July 12 Popular Post Posted July 12 Yeah I'm genuinely confused why people think he should be held accountable for this? The props master shouldn't have had bullets anywhere near set and from the testimony that stated Jensen Ackles had live bullets even in his vest, it sounds like it was an accident just waiting to happen. 3 12
Apolonio ₃₄ Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I mean he clearly wasn't at fault. Yes it was such an unfortunate tragedy but he was never the target. 2 4

Sazare Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Anyway, the prosecutorial misconduct in this case was pretty galling. Withholding evidence from the defense is already bad but to do so in such a high-profile case was moronic, I have to imagine the prosecutor is gonna face reprisals for this tbh 3

I feel for her family because accident or not accountability is necessary. 1
Price of Fame Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) I mean, yeah? It's a tragic accident but that's what it was - an accident. Calling him a murderer is moronic the irresponsible person (the props master) was convicted Edited July 13 by Price of Fame 6

Sazare Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Just now, Smarticle said: Even if it was an accident, he still killed someone. Well yes and no — considering the gun he shot her with wasn't supposed to have ammunition in it, I don't see how anyone could reasonably fault him for her death. He was more of an instrument in her death than the perpetrator. The blame for this incident clearly lies with the armorer. 2
305 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Are the first posters in the thread okay? He's not "getting away" with anything because of "white privilege" and being rich. This is a complicated case but any one with an ounce of logic can understand he's not at fault
