A rich white man getting away with murder once again (quite literally in this case)

He needs to be under the jail.

It was always clear that he'd get away with it, sadly. We've seen this before. Celebrity commits crime, the courts go through the motions of a trial just to make sure it looks like something is being done, and celebrity gets away with it.

This is because of law enforcement and prosecution withholding evidence. This has no baring on his behaviour on-set and everything to do with prosecution and law enforcement without evidence.

AND one of the prosecutors QUIT in the middle of the case today ⏤ this is not looking good for prosecution nor the state, at all.

But of course…

I mean, why do you guys think he's guilty? Whoever was in charge of props should be guilty.

I mean he clearly wasn't at fault. Yes it was such an unfortunate tragedy but he was never the target.

This man did not murder anyone, please

Anyway, the prosecutorial misconduct in this case was pretty galling. Withholding evidence from the defense is already bad but to do so in such a high-profile case was moronic, I have to imagine the prosecutor is gonna face reprisals for this tbh

they put him in a court that is notorious for overturning things like this.

I feel for her family because accident or not accountability is necessary.

I mean, yeah? It's a tragic accident but that's what it was - an accident. Calling him a murderer is moronic

the irresponsible person (the props master) was convicted

Even if it was an accident, he still killed someone. :deadbanana2:

Well yes and no — considering the gun he shot her with wasn't supposed to have ammunition in it, I don't see how anyone could reasonably fault him for her death. He was more of an instrument in her death than the perpetrator.

The blame for this incident clearly lies with the armorer.

Are the first posters in the thread okay? He's not "getting away" with anything because of "white privilege" and being rich. This is a complicated case but any one with an ounce of logic can understand he's not at fault
