LegaMyth Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I'd written a short story with Shelley in mind that I was hoping to turn into a screenplay. Annie & Maggie's Country Girls Reunion Its a basic story of Shelley's character Annie and her sister Maggie (Glenn Close) had not seen each other in a 37 years. Maggie lives in Europe, and she's been wealthy for a long time. She ran away from her family after experiencing abuse from their father. Annie has struggled most of her life, and she lives in a trailer park. When their brother Cliff dies, Maggie flies out to visit the family. She learns that her siblings were abused as we. While there are sad and dramatic moments, especially dealing with past, there are many comedic-relief moments.
Charmed Life Posted July 11 Posted July 11 RIP, Shelley. The Shining is one of my favorite horrors of all time.
NoAngelus Posted July 11 Posted July 11 This makes me really sad, because she had such a tough life last 30 years. I hope she found some peace and happiness last few years.

4Walls Posted July 11 Posted July 11 She has always been one of the few figures I really connected to since I was a kid. Like I can't explain how vital she was for me and so many people. She symbolizes hope and fearlessness in my eyes. If y'all haven't seen Three Woman please watch it tonight or when you can. One of the best performances and movies of all time. Love you so much Shelley 2
wehan6 Posted July 11 Posted July 11 rip everyone needs to go watch 3 women asap. not only is the movie a masterpiece but she gave one of the greatest performances of all time 1
JoeAg Posted July 11 Posted July 11 this makes me incredibly sad, I'm shocked tbh she seemed like she was living her best life finally in relative privacy away from hollywood she was one of the most talented, beautiful, iconic, and sweet actors to ever grace the big screen. she will be SORELY missed RIP angel 1
Soda Pop Queen Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Because The Shining is my favorite horror film of all time (I've seen it hundreds of times), Ms. Duvall was a big part of my childhood. She seemed like a kind lady, too kind for hollywood. Rest in peace.
