I think the Justin comparison misses a key thing about Camila and Justins careers, which is that at the time of Justins racist scandal he was already one of the most hated people in America if not the world so that video of him didn't do anything to his reputation because he already had a terrible reputation so it became just one thing on a laundry list of reasons why people despised Justin Bieber. Whereas Camila was for the most part well liked prior to her past coming out so it destroyed her otherwise good reputation and isn't as easily ignorable because she wasn't doing other things that made people hate her like Justin was. Justin is somewhat liked now but from the time of his debut up until purpose he was absolutely despised by everyone except beliebers. and even purpose just made people ambivalent to him and he didn't become genuinely liked until around despacito.

If she was actually friends with all of them…totally different story.  Collabing would organically happen if she was naturally hanging in those circles.  I don't think ppl would have a prob, if that was the case. LNX prob the most natural collab she's done with a Black rapper tbqh.  The rest are giving "label favor" lol.

It's hard to feel sorry for her, especially when the music is not good. She was / is racist. Most, if not all light skinned / white-passing latinos are racist and colorist towards afro-latinos / black Americans. It was completely and utterly acceptable and actually encouraged to denigrate darker skinned people in Mexico. It's been a minute since wee heard of her being a racist mess, but that upbringing can take a lot to undo. 

 

 

Does she need to be whacked again every time she releases a new album? IDK, I guess if there's black people just finding out about it, it's their right to call it out even if it's old tea?

I've been fired by "Camilas". I've had my image dragged through the mud by a "Camila" because he/she decided I was a threat to their manipulative carefully orchestrated image (cause I do let ppl know about your covert narcissism eventually). I've had microaggressions hurled @ me by a "Camila" (a co-worker, who was a known hater of mine, who I caught whistling Dixieland in my presence a few times). in her mid 20s, she posted a half assed public apology for her racist behavior (admitting she's racist) and that she was taking anti racism classes. You know how racist one has to be to have to take freaking anti racism classes??

 

in the previous era she allowed her dancer to fake tan for her Kimmel appearance a certain color that was clearly black face to many. They were even laughing and posting the black version of 💁‍♀️ on socials. When there was rightful backlash, she gave a very hostile "apology" when she should've stepped in and changed that fake tan color to orange 

 

not only did she bleach the absolute crap out of her hair to look a certain way but notice the only type of guys she dates.

 

and just this week she allowed one of the variants for the recent album to have a cover photo that literally looks like a kkk photo.

Just was confused about the amount of proof about her being an actual racist. I also agree that one meme at the age of 15 is too many.
