Comedian Nikki Glaser reveals real reason why certain people hate on JLo

Yeah I don't know about the singing part, but very much agree with everything else.

Nothing she ever did or said justifies the amount of vitriol I've seen for her online this year so far.

It was especially sad to see pop fans mocking a veteran who went out of her way to give a proper ERA, with an album, a movie, a docu, a live concert special, despite being in her damn 50s. 'Who asked for this' nobody has to ask for it, just wanted to do it and she did it and good for her.

This should be celebrated, especially looking at how little effort most other artists put in nowadays, but instead got ridiculed. Very pathetic for everyone taking part in this bandwagon. Jealousy indeed, as Nikki said.

She really went in on the sheep that don't know what they're hating on. :clap3: JLo will always be a legend

The thing about the JLo hate is that it won't stop with JLo. They are trying hard with Beyonce, but the Hive will fight til death. Unfortunately, JLo doesn't have the same type of fanbase.

The girl is talented.

The fact everyone bandwagon hated on her like a pile of zombies with no brains makes me now like her more.

I have to agree with her here that there is an aspect of people hating her because she's pretty, same with a lot of hate other pretty popstars and actresses get. I try not to judge people on looks, but I'll read some comments about her and then look at their profile pic and WOAH  :fan:

Love Nikki, she is such a intelligent and reflective person. Really enjoyed a lot of what she said here and agree with most of it! The "hate" definitely seems extremely forced and disproportionate.

mind you people like diddy didn't receive even half of the hate she got this year on socials.

Personally i don't hate or love her

she's always been just there

i think a majority of us are in this realm.  just the bandwagon culture to hate her now is pathetic hence why i now have no choice but to tolerate and or like her a little more bc if everyone is doing it, they must be wrong.

That one bitter old hag @fijitears side-eyeing you with that 'confused' reaction. So wack

Yeah, it's odd how the internet sniffs the smallest amount of blood and will automatically collectively go after someone.
