Charting on iTunes isn't the big deal it used to be. Nowadays you can chart fairly high even if 50 people buy your album/single on any given day. I don't know how many copies of Hot City has been sold for her to chart at #2 on Pop but it's probably not in the thousands.

 

I'm still happy for her though because she absolutely deserves success any chance she gets.

She's not number two on iTunes, she 's number two on Pop iTunes. On the overall iTunes chart she's outside the top 40.

She's no longer getting any royalties since Katy sold off her discography. Bonnie said in a TikTok comment she made no money from the sale either.
