Taylor's ability to snap her fingers and pull a 350k week, 5 weeks after release, is insane tbh

i suppose, maybe its me being naive and believing that the music and art is what really matters

But these do still matter, regardless of who ends up at #1. Billie's album is doing really well commercially and critically, regardless of if she misses the top spot this week. Taylor Swift is not the benchmark of success for other artists and never will be.

Allowing room for other artists to get the spotlight doesn't diminish Billie's accomplishments.

You should tell Billie this when she openly shades everyone who uses varients of vinyl in the industry, especially when she is doing it herself

this analogy doesn't even work. I would hope the #1 lawyer in the world would be trying to make the most ethical decisions and not thinking about lining their pockets 24/7. Music is an art form. It's not just about chart success. Allowing room for other artists to get the spotlight doesn't diminish Taylor's accomplishments.

Taylor is not doing anything lol. As you can see from the 50k gap, she would've blocked Billie even if she didn't release the voice memos.

Do we get a WP if we do the same with the comments here on ATRL?

Oh LMAO

Billie, probably don't even care about chart/success/#1 much despite the amount of the variants

so why do her eyelashes care so much?
anyway with 15 variants(?), you just need around 4000 stans to purchase each of them and your billie will be #1

I love how OTH went from "get her Billie, kii" to now pretending they did not think the comments were ever aimed at Taylor

the gaslighting is real :bibliahh:

The karma is real and we love to see it.

I'm really happy that Taylor didn't directly fight back and instead she blocked her with 3 new eco-friendly digital versions  :bibliahh:This is so her

What's the problem of Taylor blocking her, then? Lol

For me, I don't like how she withholds shipping pre-orders until certain weeks to guarantee the #1. It goes against the spirit of the charts.

The "shipment" delay of digital copies last week was especially egregious in my eyes.

All that being said, I just remembered that I believe in abolishing pure sales altogether (since you can't guarantee they're being listened to) so TTPD would probably still have the highest SEA this week regardless. (But don't even get me started on SEA, that's a whole other issue)

my whole thing is, what's the point for Taylor to go out of her way to block another artist from the #1 spot? it's not like her album won't return to #1 the very next week and its not like she doesn't already have a trillion weeks at #1 already. i understand being competitive and caring about the commercial success of your work but its stuff like this that makes people (rightfully) dislike her. it gets to a point where its sociopathic. her album has been out for a month now and she's still pulling these stunts?

i could understand if billie released the same week or the next week, but like 5 whole weeks later is a bit extra

Taylor has always been very cordial to Billie and even praised her openly in that award show. :giraffe:
Billie decided to Shade her in a passive agressive way-indirect way in that interview. That was totally uncalled and mean.
Billie was clearly talkin about Taylor. Not shocked. Billie is a Bieber fan.

Taylor answered her shade blocking her.  Billie *** up real bad.

This is a lesson for Billie to not mess with Taylor and the swifties and the rest of pop artists.
Taylor did one time with Katy and got the Snakegate 1 year later.
Katy was hurtful to Britney and she got her karma too. The Witness situation
Morally wise billie is in the wrong here :gayoncecat3: Taylor got her vendetta :giraffe:
if u talk **** about people then you are startin a fire. U can get burn. Thats life

Waittt .. what is everyone referring to when they say Billie shaded Taylor? Was it the multiple versions thing she talked about in an interview? If so, GET HER Taylor! lmao

Interscope has also its blames for this result, the chances that Swift was still pulling high numbers one month from her release weren't that hard to imagine and releasing an album without a single in advance was a risky move in said context, I'm sure Billie would have benefited more in having a first single out in advance, however her numbers still remains great all considered.

I think releasing the whole album the same day is better these days to get better streaming numbers and not kill the hype. She's doing way better than Happier than ever and the songs are holding better on streaming.

She was critiquing the need for better sustainability practices in the music industry. She never said she was above these practices.

She said releasing multiple versions of vinyl is simply chart-obsessed and not eco-friendly last month and after just one week her new album came out with 8 variants  :bibliahh: And when people started to guess who she was talking about she said "I'm just talking about ME!":deadbanana4: People here are like "yEs QuEen, drag that greedy hag"

And now she pays for that

Here we go again: people start to talk sh*t about Taylor and when Swifties fight back, they're the bad guys somehow :toofunny3:

This insane obsession with hating Taylor and Swifties will be analysed for years to come, people just cannot be normal when it comes to Taylor's success :toofunny3:

Always non-stans creating false Taylor Vs. (insert here) rhetoric.

Literally serving hating from outside the club and can't get in. Embarrassing :3rdplace:
