such a great album

 

she signed to Geffen Records, but they're doing absolutely nothing for her?  at least she got the album out

the title track is amazing

LACI KAYE BOOTH: "I THINK THIS IS A PROJECT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A HARD TIME WITH THEIR FEELINGS." 

besides the singles (which are obviously the wisest choices) and I Let Him Love Me (what a stunner!! we've waited on that one for ages!!)

 

my favourites so far are Neon & Off, Bill and Can't Cowboy

well most of it isn't really country, sonically it's more in the vein of Kacey Musgraves, but yeah, she's divine!!!

I loved her on American Idol. I'm listening to the album now and I'm loving it so far. 

 

True Love is so beautiful

the album is so great. she was my fav from her season of idol and this is a project that clearly does justice to her talent. such a beautiful and original sound.

I've read in an interview that she didn't believe in her previous ep, that sound was forced on her and she knows it wasn't a genuine project at all. Also she hates "Treasure"

 

sooo true, I'm so happy she can do what she wants nowadays and this album is a million times better than that ep (Used To You and Heart of Texas are amazing though)
