I used to like most of them but they all sound dated af nowadays, I would only listen to BTD and maybe Primadonna or Your body (both sound kinda dated but they are still good).

I was 18 back then so it was a fun sweet time for me. 

 

Wide Awake, Call Me Maybe and Give Your Heart a Break are my top 3 songs from that year. The music video Wide Awake got is my all time favorite video from Katy.

 

I absolutely loved Carly's Kiss record as well at the time. I remember so many people on this site hating her but I always stood by her. Turn Me Up and Your Heart Is a Muscle were my favorite tracks on Kiss outside of the singles. Believe me when I say I was so excited to see everyone come around during the Emotion era three years later. 

 

I wasn't a full on Swiftie yet but We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and the Red album were definitely helping me head in that direction, which would be fully realized with the 1989 era. 

 

Also, shoutout to Samantha Jade from Australia, who won X Factor Australia that year and released a bop as her winner's single
