Is Oceanic Feeling Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor's magnum opus?

i like this jam... I am still so shocked ATRL hates Solar Power, i think it's such a feel good summer album. I still listen to it :)

I'm always torn between this song and "Secrets from a Girl" as my favorite of the album.

All I remember about that song is that cicadas are involved. It’s such a boring song—easily one of the weakest songs on the album.

Well yes, sort of. She's got many amazing songs and it's definitely one of them. One of the best written songs on SP.

One of her best songs, for sure. Definitely my favorite from Solar Power. Such a beautiful song, the lyrics are just so poetic and beautiful.

Solar Power is not as bad as the initial reaction was. It's actually a grower. Sometimes when you need a good break from noisy/loud music, Solar Power is a good "breather" album

agreed! it's so vibey and transcendental, it brings me somewhere. honestly, SP hardly has any skips, besides LOANR, and maybe Secrets (bc of that godawful outro)

Even tho it's ranked last in my fav Lorde albums, it would be high in anyone else's discography :giraffe:

The outro is a highlight on SP, leaves you with the impression that the album was better than it really was.
